The Union Member Center Website (“Site”) available at https://unionmembercenter.com is a software product designed, developed, and maintained by Red Brace, LLC.
UA Plumbers Local 5 has entered into an agreement with Red Brace, LLC to provide the Union Member Center Website to its members as a service. In doing so, this Online Privacy Policy applies to both parties. Hereafter, “We” refers to Red Brace, LLC and UA Plumbers Local 5.
Introduction
We recognize that visitors to the Site may have concerns about the information they provide and how that information is handled. We are committed to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality with all of the information we receive through the Site and have established this Online Privacy Policy to answer any online privacy concerns you may have.
Scope
This Online Privacy Policy applies to personal information submitted and collected online at https://unionmembercenter.com and does not necessarily apply to information collected through any other channels. The policy also does not apply to websites maintained by other companies to which we link. We are not responsible for the content or activities of those websites. UA Plumbers Local 5 uses a software package called the Automated Local Processing System (“ALPS”) to manage their membership data. ALPS is developed and maintained by a third-party service provider named Union Computer Services. In order for the Site to function properly, it must send and receive personal user data to and from ALPS. Union Computer Services is a separate entity. UA Plumbers Local 5 uses Authorize.NET to process and store your payment data. If you submit payment method information on the Site such as a credit card/debit card/savings account/checking account, the payment information is sent to Authorize.NET for processing. We do not store or have access to your payment method details. For more information on Authorize.NET, visit https://www.authorize.net.
We may disclose personal information when required to do so by law, such as to law enforcement agencies, regulators, or courts, or as permitted by law, such as when we sell or transfer business assets, enforce our contracts, protect our property or the rights, property or safety of others, or as needed for audits, compliance, and corporate governance.
Data Retention
We have the right to permanently delete your personal information from the Site at any time for any reason. Should your data be deleted, a backup copy is stored for a minimum of one day and a maximum of two weeks from the deletion date. We have no obligation to store your personal information in the Site.
